Dear Ron,
Ron Foreman

Every day hundreds of millions of people search the Internet for products, services, and information.

What can you do to attract more of those people to your business?

How Search Works

In a Google search results page the paid ads are at the top and on right side. The other listings are 'organic', web sites having unpaid search engine listings.

The field of search engine optimization, (SEO), is concerned with maximizing the visibility of a web site by making its listings appear more frequently and more prominently in organic search results. Some businesses base their SEO strategies on the successful insertion of their web site listing(s) into organic search results for various popular keywords.

Cost per lead

Search marketing has the lowest cost per lead of any marketing method and is the most effective way to spend your scarce marketing dollars.

Search marketing is big business. Search consultants, traditional advertising agencies, and interactive advertising agencies are competing for your growing interactive marketing budget.

There are three methods to get your web pages listed in search results:

1- optimize your pages so that they are listed in organic search results, this is called Search Engine Optimization or SEO,

2- submit your site to a directory such as Yahoo! Directory or Open Directory,

3- pay for a sponsored link.
