marketing has the lowest cost per lead of any marketing method and
is the most effective way to spend your scarce marketing
dollars.
Search
marketing is big business. Search consultants, traditional
advertising agencies, and interactive advertising agencies are
competing for your growing interactive marketing
budget.

There are three
methods to get your web pages listed in search results:
1-
optimize your pages so that they are listed in organic search
results, this is called Search Engine Optimization or SEO,
2- submit your site to a directory such as Yahoo!

3- pay for a sponsored

Definitions
Spiders A
Web crawler (also known as a Web spider or Web robot) is a program
or automated script which browses the World Wide Web in a
methodical, automated manner.
Keywords A keyword
in an internet search is one of the words used to find matching
pages. It was popularized during the early days of internet search
as it was not possible to ask plaintext questions and find the
desired sites.
Paid Inclusion Paid inclusion is a
search engine marketing product where the search engine company
charges fees related to inclusion of websites in their search index.
Paid inclusion products are provided by most search engine
companies, the most notable exception being Google
Paid
Placement Also known as pay-per-click, select a keyword,
plunk down your credit card, and overnight you will have the number
one search position.
